The Outreach Helpdesk's 4th of July Weekend Schedule

In observance of Independence Day, the Outreach HelpDesk office will be closed beginning Friday, July 04 2008 at 12:01 a.m. (EDT) until Saturday, July 05th at 10:00 a.m. (DT), when we resume our regularly scheduled hours of support.

Attention PSU email account holders!! Phising email reported.

6/12/2008 -- We have been notified that there is an email scam being sent to PSU email subscribers. This email asks subscribers to send your email account details (User name, password, and date of birth) to our support team so that we know whether the account is active and functional. The email also provides a link to eLion to "confirm" your email address to avoid immediate deactivation. These messages were not sent by PSU Webmail Support and are considered bogus and part of a phishing scam. Please DO NOT reply to these messages and we strongly recommend that you delete them. In the event that you have replied to any of these bogus messages, please contact Security Operations & Services at 814-863-9533. ANGEL to be Upgraded to Version 7.2 Weekend of July 19

From 6:00 p.m. (EDT) Friday, July 18 to 6:00 p.m. (EDT) Sunday, July 20, Penn State's Course Management System, ANGEL (http://cms.psu.edu/), will be unavailable. During this time period, Information Technology Services (ITS) will be upgrading ANGEL from version 7.1 to version 7.2. ITS regrets any inconvenience this outage may cause.
